病毒是沒救的 只要你常常注意你的掃毒軟體 持續更新 把病毒刪除 寫信去抱怨是沒用的 他們也是受害著 也可能不是柏克萊發送出來的 是從第三著那裡 如果每個人保持理智和冷靜下來 整件是在過陣子就會結束
不過這個事件讀起來倒挺有趣的 ;)
Plus, all the people that are sending replies to the entire list are giving me their actual email addresses, so that I can send them spam and viruses whenever I like in the future - doing themselves and everybody else far more damage than the virus/worm that infected Berkeley's list server in the first place. Yay!
Viruses can't be helped, just make sure your antivirus software is up to date and delete them when you see them. Replying to the person the email claims to have come from won't do any good, because they are just victims of the virus too. It's quite possible the virus isn't even coming from
Berkeley's server at all, it just harvested the list address from somebody else's machine. The whole thing would have stopped at a couple of mails if people would just calm down and think rationally :)
Though it has made for quite entertaining reading ;)

While everybody's attention is being piqued during this brief viral rift in the fabric of virtual space-time, is there anybody who makes and/or is interested in experimental digital video and would like to get together in person (Bay Area only!) or via email to discuss? I am a Berkeley alumnus, in case that sweetens the deal.
